Amitabh Bachchan's Grandson Agastya Nanda Is The Third Star Kid Who'll Debut With Zoya Akhtar's Archie? Rumour Mills Are Abuzz
As per a report, Zoya Akhtar will be launching Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda.
As many already know, Zoya Akhtar is all set to make a desi series based on the international comic book, Archie. And it was earlier reported that Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan and Janhvi Kapoor's younger sister Khushi Kapoor will be launched by the filmmaker in this OTT venture. There was still a question mark over the third name that will be launched by Zoya. It was being said that Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's son Ibrahim Ali Khan may also be a part of the series.
But now, as per latest report, it would be Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda. According to Pinkvilla, "Agastya has always been inclined towards acting and after completing the basic education, is all geared to live his acting dream." The report also states that Agastya will first appear in Zoya's directorial for the digital world (Netflix) and then move onto the big screen. That's not all! Agastya has already started prepping for the role and if things work out well, he will play the titular role of Archie in Zoya's feature film for Netflix.
It was reported that Suhana will essay the role of Betty and Khushi Kapoor will be seen as Veronica. As per Pinkvilla, Zoya is currently working on the script and the film will go on floors by the end of this year. For the unversed, Zoya Akhtar shares a great bond with the Bachchan family, and is one of the closest friends of Shweta's. Last year, in August, Shweta Bachchan shared a picture of her handsome son posing with Zoya Akhtar. Sharing the picture, she wrote in the caption, "Fan boy". Given that Agastya is a fan of Zoya Akhtar's work, no doubt, it will be a dream come true for him to be launched by her.
